"When the Economy Recovers, Will You Be Ready to Take Advantage of New Opportunities?"

WANCHE held its spring conference on March 18, 2010. The conference was delivered via video-conferencing and was broadcast across North Carolina to 21 institutions.

The conference challenged women to prepare themselves for new opportunities. The budget has been tight and positions have been frozen, but as the economy recovers, opportunities will open up for women in the state. Sessions were held on Assessing the Educational Landscape in Preparation for Career Advancement, Professional Etiquette, and Promoting Yourself. Each of these sessions delivered professional tools and provided information to help women administrators and aspiring women administrators prepare for new opportunities that will appear over the next few years.
