BRIDGES is an intensive professional development program for women in higher education who seek to gain or strengthen their academic leadership capabilities. It is designed to help women identify, understand, and move into leadership roles in the academy.

Broyhill Leadership Institute brings successful local leaders, typically female, to Meredith College to address and interact with participants of each program.

The Center for Creative Leadership is internationally known for its creative leadership programs. They offer Women Executive Programs and scholarship possibilities.

Harvard Institutes for Higher Education offers leadership development for men and women in various walks of life, especially higher education.

Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Institutes offers intensive residential professional development experiences for women in mid- and senior-level positions in higher education administration.
